Ayurvedic Massage Sessions – Inner and Outer Purification

Ayurvedic Body Massage

In Ayurvedic tradition, Hasta Abhyanga (special Indian hand massage) has long been used to alleviate pains.

This massage done by specially prepared medicinal oil. The person who is taking the massage is given a loincloth and full body massage is done.

Range of repeated hand movements with the knowledge of vital points in the body is used from head to toe to harmonize and relax the entire body. Particular Marma points (energy centres) of the hands and arms are stimulated during the massage. From a psycho-somatic perspective, the energy blocks in the body tend to release with enough pressure in the hands and with specific movements. It cleanses the body totally, regains the active mind to its best possible working level, giving a feeling of rejuvenation. One may easily surrender oneself to the exotic divinity of the treatment.
