Craniosacral Therapy Sessions

*Keeping the prevailing situation in mind, our programs have been cancelled till the 31st March, 2020. We will review the same and notify you on the updated schedule.

What is CST?

Craniosacral therapy is a very soft hands-on therapy which works with the fluids of the body and the central nervous system consisting of the brain and the spinal cord, to restore a state of balance to the whole human system.

Our body naturally tends towards a state of balance and health (homeostasis), when given the space to rest and recuperate.

Sometimes for various reasons – for example when we are under considerable emotional, psychological or physical stress – our body may be unable to return to a state of balance.

Craniosacral therapy can help our body to return to homeostasis so that it can continue carrying out its natural processes.

In the absence of any problem, craniosacral therapy can also be deeply relaxing, thus reviving and rejuvenating the system to ensure optimal health.

The Process:

At the beginning of the session, we will have a little meditative practice to access inner resources which leads to the stage where you will lie down on your back on a massage table, fully dressed.

Facilitator place her hand and able to listen to the rhythm of patient’s body, typically the feet, the head (cranium) & the sacrum (lower back) & then if needed I’ll move to any other specific location most beneficial for the healing to take place.

A uniqueness of this treatment is that it’s not me, who decides what shall happen to you: by paying attention to you and your system I listen to your body’s response which guides me how and where to proceed.

Craniosacral therapy enhances the function of the Autonomic Nervous System, which consists of the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems.

The body heals and repairs itself when the parasympathetic is dominant i.e. when we are most relaxed or asleep.

The sympathetic nervous system, known as the “Fight or Flight” system is affected by the modern way of living and this can lead to undue stress. At worst this can be a chronic debilitating condition as we all know.

Who Can Benefit?

Because it is so gentle and non-invasive, biodynamic craniosacral therapy is suitable for everyone from newborn to the elderly and the pregnant mothers as well.

It is complementary to the traditional medical approach and can be used safely in acute or chronic conditions and the treatment can simply enhance energy, balance, and integration in a system that feels disconnected.

At the core of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy lies the principle of ‘The Breath of Life’ which can be described as the conveyor of a universal Intelligence.

As such, the Breath of Life also governs our health and orchestrates the inherent healing intention & potency it generates in the human system.

Facilitator’s Bio: Mona Jain & Ma Bodhi Dwari

My background initially was in Designing. An inquiry into self, lead me into practicing meditations, pranayama and Reiki for a decade. It immensely contributes to regulating my own health and my endeavor to empower others. During the journey, I felt the need and chose the path of establishing a practice in holistic treatments.

It humbles me when I see how beautifully the souls of the individuals are being decorated by the touch therapy called Bio Dynamic Cranio Sacral Therapy. I am a certified BCST practitioner trained at Body Intelligence School. I am passionate about helping to create accountability and better attitudes towards health, leading to body awareness and self-empowerment. I am deeply committed and continue to learn every day from the amazing changes I see in my clients.

I am a proud mother of two amazing young adults. I am also a passionate dancer, who believes strongly in the power of the expressive arts.
