Do-It-Yourself Terrarium Workshop

Ever imagined how planet earth would look like if it existed in a glass bowl?

Well maybe not the entire planet but it is definitely possible to squeeze in a few elements of mother nature into a glass bowl and create a beautiful miniature landscape which we often call a Terrarium.

This festive season come learn the art of handcrafting a miniature garden inside an 8″ glass bowl.

We’ve handpicked special succulents and artistic decoration materials to enable you to create an aesthetically beautiful looking miniature landscape.

If you’re thinking of gifting a plant this festive season then why not learn to put together a Terrarium that’s handcrafted by you for your loved ones.

The workshop is followed by lunch for all the participants.

Kit includes: 8″ glass bowl, sand/pebbles, moss, activated charcoal, potting mix, 2-3 speciality succulents and mix of miniatures for decoration.

Facilitator: Shilpa Chauhan

Shilpa Chauhan is currently the head of design at Ferns N Petals, an alumnus of prestigious NIFT having worked with companies like Landmark Group India, Marks and Spencer UK etc.

Hailing from Shimla she always had an eye for green landscapes.

As they say, once a mountain girl, always a mountain girl.

She learnt the art of professional miniature gardening in the UK and came back to India to pursue it further as a lifestyle hobby.

So far, she has introduced the concept in cities like Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Shimla.

She is now bringing the art to Zorba the Buddha, in New Delhi!
