This session aims to harmonize the body and mind through engaging in creative expression which includes exploration of the inner world through movement, visualization, colors, emotions, memories and sharing to explore and express what lies within.

A 2 hr workshop that will introduce you to creative art exercises that can be taken back into your daily life to open up or revisit the Creative and Wise Self. This expressive arts session is for anyone who would like to introspect through art play.

Creative expression aids in achieving greater self-awareness, increased self-confidence, focus, clarity, developing empathy, creativity, enhanced communication skills and helps in the release.

No prior skill or experience in art is required. Come as you are!

Facilitator Bio: Avantika Malhautra

Avantika is a Mumbai-based practicing Psychologist and Expressive Arts Therapist. She founded Soul Canvas – Art for Wellness in 2014 to spread awareness about the power of creative arts in therapy and training. Art truly is her best friend, supporting, challenging and guiding her every step of the way. She has experienced it’s power through her work with individuals and groups in therapy over the last 5 years across different settings across the country. She believes that art can reach and heal places where no words can go.
