Hatha Yoga to bring harmony – Discover Peace with Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga Class, the structure is Sivananda (pranayama, surya namaskar, asanas, savasana) but the asanas vary. Guided, with adjustments and care on the alignments and on moving the energy of the body, so they can absorb better the healing from the guided meditations.

Hatha Yoga means more than mere physical exercise or postures. In its original sense, Hatha Yoga refers to the practice of bringing harmony to the two main energies in the human body – the energy of the moon and the energy of the sun.

Now, how to bring balance and harmony to these three energy channels in our body? Through the practice of Hatha Yoga. In Sanskrit, the moon is known as “Ha” and the sun is “Tha” – thus Hatha. The “shushumna” channel is the third one that unites all three, thus Yoga which is derived from the root word “Yog” which means union.

So it is that “Hatha Yoga” restores balance between the mind and intellect. When there is perfect balance and control of mind and intellect, then one’s consciousness begins to awaken. The result is a discovery of inner peace, inner contentment and mental clarity. The purpose of life becomes clearer and one will start to understand creation. You will exist in this world with the feeling of spirituality, with the feeling of divinity and of clarity. This is literally the meaning of Hatha Yoga in its spiritual context.

Hola, I’m Lourdes Pérez-García. I am a world citizen born in Spain. Passionate humanitarian, international speaker, seminar leader, yoga & meditation teacher.

I started my career in banking and finance, but soon, I realised I wanted to contribute to make this world a better place… and I moved to the Red Cross! I lived across 7 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas, advocating & supporting humanitarian causes at senior level since 2004. I have been coordinating the international support for big crises like tsunamis, earthquakes, cyclones and the most recent migration and refugee crisis in Europe.

During years I learned and practiced ways to stay centered and peaceful in the midst of those challenges. I went through a deep inner transformation and now, I advise individuals and organizations through my seminars, talks and private sessions that include leadership, the human potential and practical spirituality, merging ancient philosophy with modern science.

I feel that a more soulful leadership style can change the world.
