MAGIC OF HUGS
We harbor inhibitions around touch and some of us have not experienced even a simple hug. Thus remains a void in us and often we are unaware of ‘why?’ Hugging is a way of healing sickness, disease, loneliness, depression, anxiety and stress are a great way to express affection. Let’s come together to be present to each other and hug with authenticity.
A funfilled space with freedom and safety will be created to explore what does touch or an embrace mean and how one can be comfortable with a hug. There will be a process where we will work individually, in pairs and in groups. Understanding of one’s own needs and freedom to express along with holding space for all the people present at the workshop.
One has a freedom to choose to hug or not or choose to hug whosoever. The process will help us look within what are our inhibitions and break some of them.
Methods: Creative movement (body’s natural movement), psychodrama and humor.
