Nada Yoga – Discover Your Natural Voice
Dhrupad is the oldest living form of Indian classical music which has developed into a complex and refined art. Dhrupad maintains the vision of sound as a path of inner discovery known as Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound.
Through voice we can come to our center. With simple techniques and exercises we will go on discovery of finding our natural voice. After that, a Raga will be introduced. You will be guided through conscious listening with live music.
As Swami Vivekananda used to say: ‘music is the highest art and to those who understand, is the highest worship’. This workshop is about approaching music as Sadhana, which is an ego transcending spiritual practice. It helps to ease physical and emotional distress.
This is an opportunity to experience something unique & transformative. Verginia’s deepest intention is to “tune to the inner soul”.
