Restore Balance with Bowen Therapy

We sometimes do things that put our bodies under unusual stress or tension.

Bowen is not a miracle cure, rather it aims to help the body’s own healing mechanisms, many of which we are yet to fully understand.

The Bowen Technique is a gentle form of body work in which very subtle moves performed over muscles and connective tissues send messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory of a preferred, relaxed, balanced way of wellbeing.

There are frequent but very essential pauses throughout the session that allows the body time to respond and begin the healing process.

The facilitator can target a specific problem or address the body as a whole.

It can help to restore balance and promote health, which helps in warding off sickness, injuries and disease.

A Bowen session gives a deep sense of relaxation, nothing is painful and sometimes one may fall asleep.

Bowen Therapy can used for:

– Back pain and sciatica

– Digestive and bowel problems including IBS

– Ear-ache, ear infections and migraine

– Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome

– Knee ankle and foot problems

– Menstrual and hormonal irregularities

– Neck/shoulder problems including frozen shoulders

– Groin pain, pelvic tilt and uneven leg length

– Respiratory problems and hay fever

– RSI, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow

– Sports and accident injuries

She has worked extensively with adults in the field of spoken English & soft skills. She has a Masters of English from the University of Delhi and is a certified Trainer.

Shireen Khanna

Bowen Practitioner (Master/Specialization level 2)

Introduced to the practice of Bowen in 2011. Initially pursued it as a hobby for several years, as I was working in a full-time job. Since 2018, after completing the advanced level, I have been committed to pursuing it professionally twice a week at the Bowen Centre and the Nanda Charitable Hospital.

My interest in it grew from seeing family members recover from their ailments. The satisfaction and sense of fulfilment that comes after a positive feedback is immense, and the knowledge that it has contributed in improving someone’s health is gratifying.

Worked for over 15 years with French organizations (Embassy; French companies); Post Master’s degree from France in International Relations; Francophone.

Kulwinder Singh

My background initially was into Real Estate. Reason why I am into Bowen therapy is because I was going through some health issues. That time I took sessions of Bowen therapy which helped resolve them.

During the journey, I felt the need and chose the path of establishing a practice in holistic treatments. It humbles me when I see how beautifully the souls of the individuals are being decorated by the Bowen therapy.

I am a certified Bowen practitioner (Advanced SPB1) (Masters SPB2) trained by Bowen therapy academy of Australia. I am passionate about helping to create accountability and better attitudes towards health, leading to body awareness and self-empowerment. I am deeply committed and continue to learn every day from the amazing changes I see in my clients.
