Spiritual Belly Dancing
A two-hour workshop that will stimulate your Hara chakra.
‘Hara’ is the Japanese term for the belly and its transpersonal power.
This is the seat of the emotional body, our gut reactions, our deep visceral feelings.
It is the centre of all creativity. It is a source deeper than rational intellect, the essence of our whole being from where we can experience integrated wholeness and total presence.
Cultures such as those of India, Japan, China and Africa acknowledge the belly as the point of physical access to spiritual power.
The apparent origins of this dance are ancient goddess rituals and fertility cults.
In this workshop we energize the belly, using ancient sensuous movements of traditional belly dancing to strengthen our physical connection to our spiritual source, along with visualizations, dialogue and breathwork
Belly dance is a muscle dance for women and combines awareness with movement, breath, catharsis and creative visualization.
Only through movement does our consciousness expand, and only through change is our consciousness stimulated. Movement and change stimulate awakening. We invite you to join us in this transformational experience.
Benefits & Reliefs:

- Helps release stale energy (catharsis).
