Tribal Sound and Songs
These two hours would be like experiencing time travel into the mysterious history of song and sound throughout the whole Earth. We will witness Eskimos of Alaska, the mysteriously dense forests of Amazon, the hot landscapes of Morocco, the cold deserts of Mongolia and to Mother Africa to explore sound and culture, to appreciate the differences and unity between them.
We will not learn words from these languages various languages but rather the music and melodies; the way they sing, the way they move, the way they breath and share stories of their beliefs in the realms of the spirits, the gods and various planes when sound was more than mere entertainment for our ancestors. But, it was a way to connect to the unknown.
This workshop will be an enriching experience for those who love sound-art and culture.
