About Zorba the Buddha

Zorba the Buddha is one of Asia’s largest open-faith spiritual eco-villages — a serene retreat nestled in the lush green heart of New Delhi. Hosting over 400 programs and festivals annually, we bring together healing, art, meditation, wellness, and celebration.

Inspired by Osho’s vision of blending the joy of Zorba with the stillness of Buddha, we have created a space where people can grow, connect, and simply be.

Our work flows through three vibrant verticals:

  1. Programs, Events & Festivals – immersive healing retreats, expressive festivals, and cultural celebrations.

  2. Shared Space – hosting soulful gatherings by like-minded organisations.

  3. Conscious Social Club – an upcoming members-only community for deeper connection.

About the Role

As the Social Media & Community Manager, you will be both the voice of Zorba online and a grounding presence during our on-site events. You will work closely with our program team, creative team, and facilitators to craft authentic, inspiring content that captures the spirit of our space — both digitally and in person.

This role blends conscious digital storytelling with meaningful community engagement, fostering a vibrant connection between our online presence and real-life experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

  • Collaborate with program teams, creatives, and facilitators to gather and curate content.

  • Plan and manage a monthly social media calendar across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

  • Create clear, engaging, and authentic content — captions, posts, reels, stories, and announcements — to inspire interaction and promote events.

  • Schedule and publish content for timely and impactful coverage.

  • Maintain a well-organised content library of photos, videos, testimonials, and quotes for ongoing storytelling.

Community Engagement (Online & On-Ground)

  • Encourage and collect Google reviews from guests, facilitators, and participants.

  • Capture live content and behind-the-scenes moments during events.

  • Collaborate with the community team to enhance guest experiences.

  • Respond warmly and promptly to DMs, comments, and WhatsApp group messages.

  • Ensure all guest-facing communication reflects warmth, clarity, and attentiveness.

Analytics & Support

  • Share weekly and monthly reports on reach, engagement, and growth, highlighting trends and insights.

  • Recommend improvements based on analytics and community feedback.

  • Support festivals with live posting, guest interviews, and real-time storytelling.

Team Management

  • Lead and coordinate a small team of interns, videographers, and content collaborators.

What You Bring

  • Passion for spiritual, wellness, and conscious communities.

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media content management.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and creative thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Canva.

  • Warm, approachable presence with a love for interacting with people online and in person.

  • An eye for aesthetics, strong copywriting instincts, and attention to detail.

  • Bonus: A personal practice in meditation or self-awareness.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Work from a lush, green campus filled with peace and creativity.

  • Be part of a conscious, diverse, and inspiring community.

  • Find joy and fulfillment in helping others grow.

  • Enjoy free access to Zorba’s events, retreats, and festivals.

  • Relish fresh, organic, and delicious meals daily.

  • Optional on-campus accommodation in our beautiful eco-village.
