About Zorba the Buddha

Zorba the Buddha is a living embodiment of the vision of Osho, the union of the earthly joy of Zorba and the silent awareness of Buddha. It stands as one of the largest open-faith spiritual communities in the world, hosting nearly 400 programs and events each year that nurture meditation, creativity, and inner transformation.

Inspired by Osho’s philosophy that life should celebrate both meditation and celebration, the eco-village attracts renowned teachers, artists, therapists, and seekers from across the globe. Here, spirituality is not confined to rituals or beliefs, it becomes a lived experience where consciousness, creativity, and community grow together.

Our programs reflect the multidimensional approach encouraged by Osho. Through meditation retreats, wellness therapies, creative arts, music, movement, and awareness practices, participants are invited to explore the full spectrum of human potential while remaining deeply connected with nature.

Located on the lush green outskirts of New Delhi, the campus is a tranquil sanctuary. Wander through peaceful gardens, reflective ponds, and vibrant natural landscapes alive with birds and vegetation. The architecture mirrors Osho’s balance between modernity and nature, combining contemporary design with organic bamboo, mud, and thatch structures.

Zorba the Buddha offers the perfect space to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Here every sense awakens from the beauty of the greenery and the quiet symphony of nature to nourishing organic food and the vibrant energy of meditation and celebration.

This is a place where the spirit of Osho’s vision lives and breathes where seekers discover both silence and joy. Come and experience a deep sense of serenity, gratitude, and love.
