OSHO – the master of masters, a modern day mystic whose wisdom, rebellious spirit and humor has transformed the lives of millions around the globe. His teachings liberated people from the shackles of religion and conformity. Osho coined the concept of a new man- Zorba the Buddha, one who celebrates and meditates.
On this day dedicated to imbibing and living Osho’s teachings, we will taste some of his work. The emphasis will be on experiencing rather than thinking. We will learn Osho meditation techniques which can be practiced every day. This workshop will help us in accessing & releasing our feelings and emotions. It will equip us with ways to allow our life energy to flow in a natural way and enter a state of balance. We will be able to connect with ourselves and others in a more open and spontaneous way.
We will end the day with Osho’s White Robe Gathering with Osho’s discourse and celebration followed by dinner.
Come, let’s live his vision… And in spirit, meditate with the Buddha, dance with Krishna and celebrate with Rumi. As Osho meditations are active in nature, please come in comfortable clothing.
Ashwin Bharti became a disciple of Osho in 1977 and is an ambassador of Osho’s vision. From being a successful businessman, he became a philanthropist and started helping himself & others in their spiritual journey. Being a channel for Osho’s energy, Ashwin created Zorba the Buddha, one of the world’s largest open faith spiritual centre and cultural hub. Over the years, he has received transmissions from various masters in Sufism, Tantra, Zen, Shamanism, Pulsing, Osho therapies & meditations, bodywork, biodanza, contact improvisation, art and music. Today, Ashwin continues to live his vision of bringing people to meditation as well as celebration, and has been facilitating Osho meditations for more than a decade.
Prem Ananda got introduced to Osho through an expressive art workshop at the age of 15 which marked the beginning of her spiritual journey with the Master. She moved to London for higher education and completed her PhD in Psychiatry. Through all these years, Ananda continued to learn and develop on various spiritual and healing modalities including Reiki, Osho meditation techniques and Sufi practices like Du’a, Whirling and Gibberish. Having keen interest in music, dance, expressive art and poetry she wishes to encourage their use as therapeutic techniques. She sees beauty in the sacred as well as mundane and derives her bliss from spreading joy! Zorba the Buddha brought about a turning point in Ananda’s spiritual quest, such that she has now re-located back to India with the vision to amalgamate the Western education with Eastern spiritual practices.
