About the Role

As General Manager, you will lead Zorba the Buddha into its next phase of growth, steering both its spiritual mission and business expansion.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Zorba the Buddha toward tripling overall revenues within 3 years across all verticals (Programs & Festivals, Shared Spaces, and the upcoming Conscious Social Club).
  • Develop and execute a scalable growth strategy, expanding revenue-generating models (programs, partnerships, memberships, and retreats) while ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Establish the Conscious Club from the ground up, scaling membership and engagement into a significant and sustainable revenue vertical.
  • Drive year-on-year growth targets, setting clear KPIs for sales, marketing, and program teams, and ensuring consistent achievement of milestones.
  • Implement cross-training initiatives to ensure staff can flexibly adapt, support peak seasons, and deepen their understanding of Zorba’s mission.
  • Embed sustainability across all operations -environmental, financial, and cultural, ensuring Zorba remains future conscious.
  • Inspire and guide program, festival, marketing, and operations teams to deliver high-quality experiences aligned with Zorba’s vision.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring transparent governance and fiscal discipline while balancing growth with long-term sustainability.
  • Forge and nurture partnerships with facilitators, spiritual leaders, wellness organizations, and cultural collaborators globally.
  • Identify and expand into new domestic and international markets, positioning Zorba as a global leader in spiritual wellness.
  • Report to the Board with clarity on financial performance, team development, operational excellence, and cultural integrity.


What You Bring

  • Total 15 years of experience with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, wellness, Spiritual or cultural, community-centered settings.
  • Proven track record of scaling organizations with measurable revenue growth and sustainable practices.
  • Strong experience in launching or scaling new business models, membership programs, or flagship communities.
  • Deep personal alignment with spirituality, mindfulness, or holistic practices.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, leadership, and relationship-building across diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with adaptability, creativity, and a focus on impact-driven growth.
