Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team, ensuring a seamless journey for individuals seeking our programs. This role is ideal for someone who is not only goal-oriented but also deeply aligned with the ethos of holistic well-being. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing Sales Associates (Counsellors), driving sales, and enhancing customer engagement to guide participants toward life-changing experiences at Zorba the Buddha.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of Sales Associates (Counsellors) to achieve sales targets while maintaining a nurturing and ethical sales approach.
  • Lead Engagement: Oversee the process of handling inbound leads and callback requests, ensuring timely and meaningful communication with potential participants.
  • Consultative Selling: Ensure that the team counsels potential participants by understanding their needs and guiding them toward the most suitable retreats, workshops, or programs for their spiritual and personal growth.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to optimize conversions and drive program enrollments while staying true to the essence of conscious living.
  • Call Management: The Sales Manager and their team will actively engage in phone conversations with prospective participants, addressing inquiries, building relationships, and fostering trust in our offerings.
  • Salary & Incentives: This role offers a base salary along with performance-based incentives, rewarding both financial success and the ability to inspire individuals to embark on meaningful journeys.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with program coordinators and marketing teams to align sales efforts with upcoming events and retreats.
  • Sales Insights & Reporting: Track performance, analyze trends, and refine sales processes for continuous improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management, customer engagement, or consultative selling, preferably in wellness, hospitality, or retreat-based services.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in active listening, empathy, and guiding conversations toward meaningful decisions.
  • Ability to balance sales targets with a compassionate approach, ensuring each individual is genuinely supported in their journey.
  • Experience handling inbound leads and converting interest into meaningful participation.
